Seven Meghalaya MLAs to meet Amit Shah in Shillong

SHILLONG: As many as seven sitting MLAs from different political parties would meet the BJP national President Amit Shah  when he visits Shillong later this month. Shah is scheduled to visit Shillong for a day-long visit  on September 28.

BJP state president, Shibun Lyngdoh informed that the seven MLAs would meet the BJP president before they decide their future course of action regarding whether they would join the BJP or not.

Lyngdoh said that the party would arrange the appointment of  some  more MLAs if they want to meet Shah.

During his day-long visit,   Shah would meet party workers, intellectuals from the city and even religious leaders.

Shah will hold meeting here in Shillong and would depart from the city next day.

It may be mentioned that two independent MLAs  Justine Dkhar and Robinus Syngkon  have already pledged to   join the saffron party  after the duo along with the state BJP president met Shah in New Delhi recently.
