SHILLONG: Durg Vijay Yadav, Security in-charge, Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited in East Jaintia Hills, lodged a complaint that on September 2 around 7.50 pm, fifteen unidentified miscreants assaulted three security guards, Prem Kumar Sinha, Rajkumar Sinha and Amit Ronghi, posted at the entry gate and also ransacked the security office.
As a result, all three guards sustained injuries and were shifted to NEIGRIHMS.

SHILLONG: On September 8 around 8 pm, Nolan Lyngdoh (58) of Mawkynroh, Nongspung was suspected to have been shot by Bridilan Jyrwa at Lempluh village in East Khasi Hills. The victim sustained injuries.
