NPP meet
A press conference will be held on Monday at 6pm at the Office of the National People’s Party (NPP) Lower Lachumiere. The conference will be addressed by Ratika Yumnam, the newly appointed National Youth president, NPP along with James K Sangma, MLA and others.
Inauguration
The inauguration of the new Sien Jaintia Hall located at GS road Qualapatty, will take place on September 14 at 3 pm. Chief Minister Mukul Sangma will be present as the chief guest.
National Nutrition week
East Khasi Hills District observed the National Nutrition Week with a variety of programmes in collaboration with World Vision India and Health Department & ICDS Mawkynrew Block, at Holy Cross Higher Secondary School Mawkynrew under the theme “Optimal infant & Young Child Feeding Practices: Better Child Health”.
