SHILLONG: Chief Minister, Mukul Sangma has slammed the BJ- led NDA Government over the failure of demonetization to yield positive results.

Responding to queries of journalists here on Wednesday, Sangma there was no sign to indicate that black money besides the funding for terror organisations has stopped.

“They had some other agenda behind demonetization which is yet to be known and it will be known in due course of time,” Sangma said, adding that the agenda behind the move should be found out.

The statement came from Mukul Sangma after BJP decided to observe November 8 as “anti-black money” day.

Sangma also alleged that the process of demonetization last year had opened huge corruption process and made some people richer but surprisingly, Union Government never tried to go into the details

“We will have to remind people about the anti-people agenda of BJP and their associates like Shiv Sena and NPP,” Sangma said.
