1202 want to opt out of Aadhar enrolment in Meghalaya till date

SHILLONG: As many as 1202 persons have decided to opt out/ withdraw from Aadhar enrolment in in Meghalaya during October 30 to November 3.

In a statement issued here, the Meghalaya Peoples’ Committee on Aadhaar (MPCA) which has launched the campaign in the state against Aadhar enrolment, has extended the date for withdrawal after confirming with volunteers for facilitation.  The date for submitting letters for withdrawal/opting out of Aadhar enrolment has been extended up to Friday, November 10, 2017.

Some of the centers which the people can approach for the purpose include:   Jaiaw, Shillong in Office of KSU Central Body, Nongstoin as per arrangement of KSU, Nongstoin Circle   and Mawkyrwat as per arrangement of KSU, Mawkyrwat Circle.
