SHILLONG: A Socio Cultural Organisation named Geetali, Laban organised late Prof. Romen Das Memorial School Level Quiz Competition and College / Higher Secondary Level Debate Competition, which was held at Laban Bengalee Boys’ Higher Secondary School Auditorium on Saturday.
A total of eleven schools participated in the quiz competition.
The winner of the competition was Melisha Khangbu from Lady Keane Higher Secondary School.
The debate competition was won by Riya Mishra and Khushali Sharma from St. Edmunds College.
South Shillong MLA Sanbor Shullai attended the event as chief guest. Sankari Das, wife of Late Prof. Romen Das was guest of honor.
