SHILLONG: The Federation of Khasi Jaintia and Garo People (FKJGP) Mawphlang circle has demanded immediate appointment of doctors in the Mawphlang Primary Health Centre.
In a memorandum submitted to the Director of Health (MI) here on Thursday, the FKJGP said that the absence of doctor has hit the people of the area hard.
It may be mentioned that the doctors of the PHC were transferred on November 16 and no replacement has been sent so far.
