Man’s body found at Gumaghat

MAWKYRWAT: The body of a man was recovered at Gumaghat near the India-Bangladesh border under Ranikor police station on Monday.
South West Khasi Hills superintendent of police, H.G. Lyngdoh informed that the deceased was aged between 45 and 50 years, of thin built, had short hair and a beard.
“The body is lying unclaimed at the Mawkyrwat CHC morgue,” the SP said.
He also requested the family members and relatives of the deceased to contact the Gumaghat Check Post (phone number 9436334114) or Mawkyrwat police station (phone number 9402583879) for identification within two days. The SP said the matter was under in
