JOWAI: MGNREGA MIS Manager of Laskein C&RD Block, Heipormi Laloo, who is a resident of Mowkaiaw, has resigned from his contractual post to contest in the upcoming General Assembly Election 2018.
Laloo has completed his BSc in Fishery, and has been elected as the secretary of the Mowkaiaw Dorbar Shnong and also as the general secretary of the Saw Lyngdoh Higher Secondary School.
“I decided to quit the job in order to serve my people,” Laloo said adding that he is in favour of all-round development of the constituency.
