Renowned Tura trader passes away

TURA: Well-known trader from Tura bazaar and a senior citizen from the trading community, Satyanarayan Khandelwal passed away in Jaipur following a cardiac arrest on Saturday. He was 66.

Late Khandelwal was among the first batch of students to pass out from the Tura Government College, many years ago.

He joined the business profession and started a retail business under the Umrao Singh Jaynarayan name. He later started wholesale business as well. His store next to Rikman Hotel was extremely popular with the consumers of Tura town.

As a mark of respect to the late businessman, the traders of Tura bazaar downed their shutters for two hours on Monday afternoon.
