 JOWAI: JSU member, Richard Sumer of JSU Mynkre unit was assualted by a group of five people from Byndahati at Mynkre on Tuesday night.

The JSU has lodged a complaint against Tiew Shylla and four others. Shylla is the son of a coal baron, Thomas Nongtdu informed the JSU.

According to the JSU, Richard was attacked by a group of five youth led by Shylla who came in a private vehicle at around 11:30 pm.

Meanwhile, the JSU Narpuh Circle has condemned the incident and demanded immediate arrest of Shylla and others.
