SHILLONG: State Congress chief DD Lapang and MPCC working president James S Lyngdoh will lead a delegation of the Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee members to Delhi on Friday to attend the charge takeover ceremony of newly elected AICC president Rahul Gandhi on Saturday.
Lapang, while remembering the contributions of the outgoing AICC chief, hoped that Rahul’s election as the president would “usher in a new dawn for the party as well as the country”.
