Minor killed, two injured in separate accidents

SHILLONG: One child died and several injured in a spate of road accidents in Shillong.
On January 12 at 7.40 pm, one unknown vehicle knocked down one minor boy, Pyntngenlang Kharkongor (6.5 years) at Mawpat Wahheh, Shillong. As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was shifted to NEIGRIHMS, where he was declared brought dead.
On the same day, about 8.30 pm, one scooty (ML-05P-1011) ridden by Mewan Swer (24) knocked down Zaynuddin Sheikh (25) at Mawiong, causing minor injuries to him.
Later on the same night, around 11 pm, one motorcycle (ML-05J-7306) ridden by Banshan Kharwanlang (21) collided with one scorpio vehicle (ML-05J-1886) driven by Richard Roy Wan (25) at Polo, Shillong. As a result, the motorcycle rider sustained injuries and was admitted to a Hospital.
