Court notice to Shullai

SHILLONG: The court of the Additional Sessions Judge has issued notice to former South Shillong legislator Sanbor Shullai in connection with the FIR lodged against two city based social activists.
Earlier, after the activists lodged a police complaint against Shullai alleging nepotism in various appointments in Meghalaya Legislative Assembly based on RTI findings, Shullai filed a counter FIR against the duo.
The social activists, Angela Rangad and Agnes Kharshiing challenged the FIR filed by Shullai before the Additional Sessions Judge, Shillong.
The activists said their appeal was taken moved as criminal revision and the Court, while admitting the revision issued notice to Shullai to appear or reply.
