SHILLONG: The Mawthadraishan Block Congress Committee, West Khasi Hills District has refuted the allegations that the Congress candidate Pios Kurbah asked people to support People’s Democratic Front (PDF) candidate, BB Warjri.
In a statement issued here, Kurbah has termed the report which was published in a section of the press as fabricated and baseless which has affected the candidate.
Kurbah has condemned the statement and demanded that such persons who spread the news should be arrested stating that it has flouted the conditions of the Election Commission of India.
