Missing
A person identified as Modella Marbaniang (32) reportedly missing from Shillong. As per the FIR filed by the family, he was last seen on February 11 at 4th Furlong. He is 4.11 ft, anyone having information about him are urged to contact 8014951633.
General meet
The general council meeting of Meghalaya Energy Corporation Limited progressive Workers Union will be held at the Community Hall Mission compound Shillong at 10 am on Saturday. Union members from all around the state will be coming together to discuss their rights and struggles to achieve them.
Raids conducted
The Excise Department, West Garo Hills, has conducted raids in the district and arrested 66 persons under the Excise Act during the month of January. A total of 66 cases and 29 unclaimed cases were detected with seizure amounting to around 298.05 litres of IMFL, 165.575 litres of beer and 105.25 litres of ID liquor. In this regard 20 cases were disposed off and a fine amounting to Rs, 25, 200 was released.
