Shining Star Laloo, retired deputy director of DIPR passed away on Wednesday. His funeral will be held on Friday at 1 pm at Jowai Presbyterian cemetery.

Ranadhir Bhattacharjee, a priest of Sanatan Dharmasabha, Harisabha passed away on December 25 at Guwahati Medical College due to brain hemorrhage. His body was cremated in Shillong on December 26 and his Sradh ceremony will be held on January 4.
