SHILLONG: Police on Friday apprehended three persons for possession of drugs in two separate incidents.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team led by SDPO, Mairang (WKH), conducted raid at Ladweitang village (WKH) at around 1.30 PM and apprehended one Formingstar Iawphniaw (28) for possession of suspected heroin weighing 0.06 grams.
In Madanriting, Police apprehended two persons namely, Khual Suam Tak (23) and Henry Neihsial (33) at around 8:30 pm and recovered 290.19 grams of suspected heroin from their possession.
The two were apprehended from the house of Henry Neihsial at Lumjingsuk Block-A, Madanrting, Shillong. Police have arrested both the accused.
