2 killed in Mairang mishap

SHILLONG: Two persons were killed and two others injured when a vehicle in which they were travelling collided with a truck in West Khasi Hills on Saturday.
Police said a Sumo com-ing from Shillong dashed against the truck at Umdishit Mawsawa near Mairang killing the driver of the Sumo and another lady occupant. While the woman is yet to be identified, the driver, Bistarding Kharsyn-tiew (34), is from Nongum village. The truck driver escaped.
