SHILLONG: One Babitha Sangma lodged a complaint at Rongjeng PS that on January 9 at around 10:20pm, five women Betpoli Sangma, Pulbe S Sangma, Leksitha S Sangma, Wikson S Sangma and Simchira S Sangma, assaulted her and her husband Javier Momin in their house at Rongjeng, Awangga (EGH). They also took away Rs 6,800 and threatened them with dire consequences.
Police, however, arrested one Withsen Sangma in this connection.
