NONGPOH: Following the alarming situation of drug users and suppliers within Nongpoh areas, the local legislator of the Constituency expressed concern over the situation that is hampering the youths of the area.
Speaking to The Shillong Times, Mayralborn Syiem said that Nongpoh area had witnessed the spurt of drug users and suppliers recently and this is one of the major issue which has influenced the youngsters.
Therefore, Syiem had taken up this issue with Ri Bhoi SP to create awareness to the public on the ill-effects of drugs and also to take actions against the drug suppliers involved.
