NONGSTOIN: People in Nongstoin were left disgruntled and upset after witnessing the irresponsible behavior of the postmaster at the Nongstoin post office on Thursday.
The incident happened around midday when the post master left the speed post counter without informing the staff or the people who had lined up at the office.
After enquiring about the post master’s actions, the people were told by the office staff that nothing could be done as it was ‘the postmaster’s attitude’.
L Lyngkhoi, who was present during the incident spoke to the media in the evening and stated that incompetent officers should be reported and replaced by the higher authority.
