SHILLONG: Police has registered a case after some students allegedly brought fake marksheets of William Carey University to seek degree certificates from the university itself.
SP (City) Steve Rynjah said that some students based on the marksheet were seeking degree certificate from the University.
“ We have seized some documents from the University and we have registered a case and inquiry into the matter is on,” Rynjah said.
Rynjah also informed that the University has denied issuing those fake marksheets.
