JOWAI: The All Jaintia Youth Welfare Organisation, East Jaintia Zone (AJYWO-EJZ) has demanded GR Infra Limited to repair a portion of the NH-6 from Tongseng village to Sonapur village.
The AJYWO EJZ claimed that the retaining wall constructed by the company has collapsed and immediate repair is required to prevent loss of life and road blockade.
“If the retaining wall is not repaired in time, the road may collapse affecting vehicular movement while lives may also be lost”, the organisation said in a statement.
