The KSU will hold the election for East Khasi Hills circle on July 28 at Durbar hall, Pynthorumkhrah from 10 am to 12 noon. Nomination forms are available at the office of the union and the last date for submission of forms is July 25.
Women’s event
Capacity building programme on the constitutional and legal rights of women organized by Meghalaya State Commission for Women supported by the Ministry of Law & Justice, New Delhi was held at Pastoral Centre, Cleave Colony on Thursday. Commissioner & Secretary, Social Welfare T Dkhar was the chief guest.
