SHILLONG: Congress legislator PT Sawkmie has expressed happiness over the performance of AICC president Rahul Gandhi during the no-trust motion against the BJP-led NDA government on Friday.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Sawkmie said the AICC president raised important issues which are related to the country as a whole on the floor of Parliament. According to Sawkmie, Rahul’s message won the hearts of many Indians.
Moreover, he spread the message of love to all the people in the country.
He said the party is looking at the leadership of Rahul to strengthen its base.
“If it is the wish of the people, we would like to see him as the Prime Minister of the country in 2019,” Sawkmie added.
