Launch
Shillong College will launch the Language cum Skill Development Lab constructed with the support of Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan on July 24 at 11am in the college premises. Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong will be the chief guest while Pro-Vice Chancellor of NEHU, Prof H. Lamin will be the guest of honour. The college will also release it’s Diamond Jubilee Celebration Souvenir and the college interdisciplinary journal entitled ‘Echoes from the Hills’.
Film screening
The Department of History, Lady Keane College, Shillong recently screened the first animated film U Syiem in the college premise to commemorate the 183rd death anniversary of U Tirot Sing.
