SHILLONG: The executive committee of the National People’s Party (NPP) has decided to support its candidate, Martin Danggo, for the by-election in Ranikor scheduled for August 23.
In a statement issued here, Phrailin Syiemiong, the president of NPP Mawsynram Block Committee, urged voters to ensure Danggo’s victory and asserted that the former MLA of Mawsynram, PN Syiem, who is also contesting from Ranikor, has not worked for the constituency.
