Taekwondo Academy of Khasi Hills wins M’laya Goodwill C’ship

SHILLONG: The Taekwondo Academy of Khasi Hills bagged the Overall Champion Trophy by securing 29 Gold Medals, 28 Silver Medals and 27 Bronze Medals in the Championship in the recently concluded Meghalaya Goodwill Open Taekwondo Championship held at U Tirot Sing Syiem Indoor Stadium, Shillong on August 11 and 12, 2018. The Overall Champion Trophy was presented by the Chief Guest in the Tournament Shri AdelbertNongrum, MLA to Shri S. Konwar, Chief Coach and Smti L. Konwar, Women Coach of the Academy. The highlight of the championship was Shri Vishal Konwar for his electrifying performance in the championship.
