Blood donation drive held

SHILLONG: The National Service Scheme and National Cadet Corp, Shillong College in collaboration with the Regional Blood Bank Pasteur Institute on Tuesday organised blood donation drive on college premises.
NSS programme officer, M. Synrem said that this is a regular activity undertaken every year to spread the message across the youth that one’s blood can save a life. He further said that this year the number of donors had increased and he hoped that this healthy trend will continue in the years to come.
