SHILLONG: The upcoming 2013 Assembly elections is compelling many contestants to do something for their respective constituencies in order to gain the people’s confidence and votes.
In the same way, to relate himself with the public of Pynthorumkhrah, former Mawlai MLA PT Sawkmie recently released the 2012 calendar at Mawpat community in the presence members of the PCPPC Mawpat unit and Dorbar Shnong and the people of that area.
Speaking at the gathering, Sawkmie said at present, he cannot offer any big to the public but will definitely be able to do that after the 2013 elections if he manages to become a representative of the constituency.
Meanwhile President PCPPC Mawpat unit S. Pyngrope,said the people of Pynthorumkhrah need a representative like Sawkmie who works for the betterment of the people and the community as a whole
