SHILLONG: Police have arrested one person in connection with the recent brawl between two groups in the city which led to a bullet injury of a person.
SP (City) Steve Rynjah confirmed that one arrest has been made and interrogation is on.
Police arrested Oristar Mawnai (27) and the weapon allegedly used in the incident was seized from his possession.
It may be mentioned that Pynskhembor Kharmawlong, a resident of Nongrah Lummarboh was hit by a bullet in the city on Sunday night when he was trying to stop a brawl between two groups.
Meanwhile, the father of Kharmawlong LFM Alexander Mukhim has filed a police complaint in this regard.
