General meet
The general meeting of the Synjuk ki Durbar Shnong Shillong West was held last month where RB Rynjah was elected as the new chairman and R Dkhar as the general secretary.

Poshan mela
Poshan Mela was organised at Christ King Secondary School, Banglapluh under Mawshynrut Civil-Sub-Division where free medical check-up, displaying supplementary nutritious food and water testing equipments were carried out. A baby show, drawing and painting competition were also held. Water buckets contributed by the villagers was given to Anganwadi workers.

Ayush Garden inaugurated
The Ayush Garden of Mawkadiang Ayush Village was inaugurated on Thursday by the DM & HO West Khasi Hills Nongstoin, Dr. W.W. Phira.

Panel discussion on F&B Industry
A new restaurant, quick service restaurant (QSR)
will be inaugurated by Industry & Commerce Minister Sniawbhalang Dhar at Dhankheti on Friday. Following the inauguration, a panel discussion on the theme ‘Make & Made In Meghalaya’ will be held at Assam Bhawan. The panel discussion will dwell on the growth of the F&B Industry and its scope in Meghalaya.

Dry Day
The Deputy Commissioner (Excise) West Khasi Hills, has informed that October 2 is declared as ‘Dry Day’ in the whole district  on account of Gandhi Jayanti Day.
