SHILLONG:The Shillong Traffic Police (STP) has informed that one way rule would be imposed in Laitumkhrah in view of the schools reopening from next week.
A vehicle now proceeding to Laitumkhrah will have to go all the way till Nongthymmai fire station and return from the road near St Edmunds School. The one- way rule will be applicable from 7.30 am to 9.30 am.
The Additional Superintendent of police( Traffic ) Herbert Lyngdoh has also informed that no trucks would be allowed to ply in the city from 7 am till 7 pm. The orders come into effect from Monday.
