Mega Lok Adalat
The office of the District Legal Service Authority, West Jaintia Hills will hold a Mega Lok Adalat for all types of cases on October 27 at the DC’s office from 10 a.m onwards.

Eye camp
A free eye screening camp was organized by Lions Club of Shillong in collaboration with Bansara Eye Care centre at Lad Mawphlang on Thursday where 79 patients were treated.

The Hill Farmers union will hold a public meeting on Saturday at Hall Primary Dong Neng, Mawsynram at 11 am. The order issued by the Syiem Hima Mylliem on unwarranted deduction will be distributed.

Assam Rifles conference
A two-day annual Assam Rifles Inspector Generals’ conference began at HQ, DG AR at Laitkor on Thursday. The conference is expected to seek solutions to threats that challenge the internal peace a and security of the North Eastern states, as also the issues related to Indo – Myanmar border management.

Scout conference 
Three Scout cadets, Terang B Marak from Saljong Rover Crew, Idason Kharlukhi and Kebinson Thongni from Boscorean Scout Group will participate in the 26th Asia Pacific Regional Scout Conference to be held at Manila, Phillipines from October 14–21.
