Abducted
Dipon Nath reported that on October 16 around 8 pm, unidentified miscreants abducted his brother Kripesh Nath @ Kukan Nath from Lad-Rymbai Dongwah from his own vehicle (ML-05-9948). On October 17, police recovered the vehicle from a place between Lad-Rymbai and Rymbai (EJH). Search operations are on and matter is under investigation.

Girl missing
Yarilana Suchen of Lumjingsuk, Madanrting, Shillong lodged a complaint that on October 16, her daughter left home for her friend’s residence and did not return home till date and her cellphone is switched-off.

Body found
On October 16 around 6 am, a body of Livingstone M Marak (52) was found hanging from a tree at Dolagia Bazar, Kalaipara in South West Garo Hills

One knocked down
On October 15 at about 3 pm, a scooty ridden by Tengjak M Marak (28), knocked down a pedestrian Ronjing Ch Marak (85) at Hatisil (SWGH). As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital in Ampati.

Theft
On the night of October 14, unknown miscreants stole laboratory accessories, electrical fittings, etc valued around Rs. 2,50,000 from the premises of District Horticulture Office in Ampati.
On September 28, 2018, unknown miscreants stole a motorcycle (ML-08B-8632) belonging to Sagar R Marak from his residence at Rongkhon in West Garo Hills.
