Two women militants nabbed

IMPHAL: Troops of 33 Assam Rifles under the aegis of Red Shield Division and Bishenpur Police Commandos apprehended two women over ground workers of People’s Liberation Army (PLA) at Bishenpur district on Sunday.

Defence sources said the two women identified as Keisham Ibeyaima Devi (15) of Yaiskul Hirohanba Laikai and Thokchom Seran Renubala Devi (37) of Langthabal Thong Ahanbi were held from Kumbi Kayaibung area of Bishenpur district.

They were working on the behest of Khelamba, SS Divisional Force Commander of PLA.

The apprehendees were handed over to Kumbi Police Station. (UNI)
