Mawkyrwat: The Ranikor Block Congress Committee (RBCC) has recommended Air Marshall Diengngan as the party candidate for the upcoming MDC election to the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) from Ranikor Constituency, South West Khasi Hills District.
Sources from the RBCC informed that the decision was taken during the meeting of the party which was held at Panchering ‘B’ near Ranikor recently where leaders and supporters unanimously approved Diengngan as the candidate.
“Our recommendation was also approved by the South West Khasi Hills District Congress Committee and soon it will forward the same to the Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC),” sources said.
Sources also informed that the party has received two applications for the party ticket and the other aspirant was Daniel Wahlang.
