COLKS launches 2 new products

SHILLONG: Center of Learning Knowledge & Services (COLKS) launched two of their farmer’s products – BEE Natural and MADessentials on Tuesday.

COLKS was formed by a group of like-minded professionals from various fields who have come together with the passion of driving rural empowerment, sustainable livelihood and gainful employment primarily for farmers and the rural youth.

Co-founder and  innovative strategies, Eunice Patton said COLKS’ honey brand known as BEE Natural, was started in 2016. He also highlighted on other products such as soaps, lip balm.

She added the QR code in the packaging provides farmer traceability and regional identity. She informed that the packaging of is of handmade recycled paper sourced from Guwahati.

Brand manager, Peter Wallang said COLKS aims to promote farmer’s local produce and the sources of COLKS products are taken from the local  farmers.

He added, “We plan to expand to Assam as well as Nagaland.”
