SHILLONG: Lt Gen Sukhdeep Sangwan, Director General of Assam Rifles paid tributes to soldiers on the 72nd Infantry Day at India Gate on Saturday. The highlight of the event was the performance of the women personnel of Assam Rifles who enthral everybody with scintillating drill and confidence while escorting the DGAR. The women personnel were also the wreath bearers on the occasion.
