SHILLONG: Leader of Opposition Mukul Sangma is not happy with one day of special session of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly
Talking to media persons here on Wednesday after a meeting of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP), Sangma said he will take up the matter during the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee on Thursday and he will ask for at least a three-day session.
“There are many important issues which need to be discussed,” he said.
The special Assembly session scheduled for November 27 is to modify the resolution passed by the House earlier this year for inclusion of Khasi and Garo languages in the Eighth Schedule.
