A delegation of the Khasi Authors’ Society (KAS) called on Governor Tathagata Roy on Wednesday to request him to press for inclusion of Khasi in the 8th Schedule of the Constitution. President of the KAS DRL Nonglait informed that the governor assured the delegation that he would write to the Ministry of Home Affairs on the matter. (ST)
