One apprehended

 SHILLONG: The BSF troops of Lalghat, in West Khasi Hills on Saturday apprehended one Bangladesh FICN racketeer while he was illegally intruding India from Bangladesh.

The racketeer has been identified as Ramjan Ali, a resident of Sunamganj, Bangladesh. In another incident, BSF troops in South Garo Hills along with the local police raided the house of one Arti Banai and recovered one thousand one hundred fifty phensydle bottles besides eight liquor bottles.

The total seizure items amount up to Rs 2,32,000, adding the consignment was kept in the house for further smuggling to Bangladesh.
