TURA: The finals of the Garo Hills Super Challenge, a talent competition for youths was held recently in Tura. The event was organised by the Garo Hills Youth Inter Talent Organization.
Winners in dance category went to Siamte Group from Tura (1st place), Sweet Brothers’ Group from Williamnagar (2nd) and Rahul D Sangma from Tikrikilla (3rd). Sunny Tengban R Marak from Tura won the second place in singing category while Sillangdare G Momin from Rongjeng took the third place.
On the final day, Chokpot MLA Lazarus Sangma attended as the Chief Guest and also distributed cash prizes along with certificates to the winners.
