SHILLONG: Women’s College, Shillong will Celebrate International Women’s Day on Monday. Ms. Renee Lulam, Assistant Director, Centre for Women’s Studies, St. Edmund’s College, Shillong will grace the occasion as the Guest Speaker.
Meanwhile, as part of the observance of the International Women’s Day on Thursday last, a five- member delegation of the Meghalaya Women’s Alliance visited the female inmates at the Shillong District Jail.The members not only distributed food and snacks, but had the opportunity of sharing .listening and praying with the inmates who expressed their happiness and gratitude to the members.
