Theft
On February 18, unknown miscreants broke into Basudeva Mandir inside the premises of New Age Welfare Society, Jail Road, Shillong and stole huge amount of money.
On February 18 between 10.30 am and 5.50 pm, unknown miscreants broke into the house of Worshim Mohongnao at Nongrimbah, Shillong and stole one laptop and one LPG cylinder.
On February 17 night, unknown miscreants broke into the shop belonging to Aldrin Shangpliang at Stall No. 23, Municipal parking lot near Anjali Cinema Hall, Shillong and stole IMFL, Beer, etc.

8-year-old knocked down
On February 18 morning, a dumper truck fatally knocked down an eight-year-old girl Notrias D Sangma at Salmanpara (SWGH). The driver fled away.

Accident
On February 16 circa 11 pm, an unknown vehicle fatally knocked down Bishnu Chanda (25) at Dhankheti, Shillong.

One killed
Pynskhemi Suchiang lodged a complaint that on February 16, Adifine Law murdered his wife Tipshwa Suchiang in their residence at Iooksi (WJH). Necessary formalities were observed and the cadaver was sent to CH Ialong for PM examination.

Public property destroyed
A complaint was lodged that on the night of February 14, unknown miscreants destroyed the washing platform which was constructed under MGNREGA Scheme, at Siatbakon village in East Khasi Hills.
