Election campaign to end on Feb 25

Shillong: The Commissioner &  Secretary, District Council Affairs Department, Meghalaya has informed all parties concerned that display and/or propagation of any election matter to the public by means of print, audio and/or visual media and/or forms of entertainment or amusement with a view to attract the members of the public thereto and/or holding of public  meetings or processions in connection with the General Elections to the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council and Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council will come to an end from the period of 48 hours ending with the hour fixed for conclusion of the poll, i.e., February 25 at 4pm.
