Los Angeles: An arrest warrant has been issued against British comedian Russell Brand for grabbing a photographer’s iPhone and hurling it at the glass and smashing the window.
The actor is wanted for criminal damage to property by New Orleans Police, reports tmz.com.
People connected to the British star have already contacted the law firm and said the actor would be willing to pay for the damage. Though his exact whereabouts are currently unknown, hence police have issued the warrant.
It is assumed that Brand is still in New Orleans where he is filming a new movie by Diablo Cody, which also stars Julianne Hough and Oscar-winner Octavia Spencer. (IANS)
