YONO Cash Point inaugurated in city

SHILLONG: The YONO Cash Point was inaugurated at SBI, Intouch Branch in the city on Friday.
Assistant general manager, State Bank of India, Regional Business Office, Dhanketi, Vijay Kumar Gangishetty attended the event as the chief guest in the presence of Tshering Diki, assistant general manager of SBI, Shillong Main Branch; Rama Ramana Padhy, assistant general manager of SBI, RASMECC and other officials.
The ceremony started off with a speech on YONO cash by Vijay Kumar Gangishetty who stressed on popularising the YONO cash point. This was followed by a demonstration on cash withdrawal using the YONO app.
YONO Cash is a unique facility that enables an account holder to withdraw cash YONO Cash enabled SBI ATMs without using a debit card. Around 45 ATMs in the city have been optimised for YONO Cash transactions.
