New Delhi: The government has proposed to set up 67 Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) including 2 in Meghalaya in the 12th Five-Year Plan (2012-17). “The government proposes to set up 67 new Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) in different states and union territories during 12th Plan,” an official release said. Rajasthan will have 10 new KVKs, followed by 9 in Jammu and Kashmir, 5 in Assam, 4 each in Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal, it added. (PTI)
